Ho Ho Ho

As many of us are, my family is a creature of habit. At least once or twice a month we go a local restaurant for Sunday breakfast, and always go to the same waitress. Since we have been going there so long we have become somewhat attached to her, she always treats us special and Josh just loves her. Josh wanted to give her one of the ornaments he had made; so I had to make sure there was a gift box that was just as special. I cut the box from the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge and used the paper from the CTMH Believe Paper Pack. I used the Share the magic CTMH stamp set for the Jolly Ol' St Nick the added some of the new spark fluff to Santa's beard and fur. Josh was so excited to give it to her this morning, and she loved the ornament, card (One last letter to Santa) and gift box.

Gifts from Josh

My son Josh is a such a giving kid and loves to give little gifts that he makes to all of our family, his teachers, and all of the family friends we have. Since Grandma and Papa moved to Florida, we go down and visit, one the first visit he became enamored with Grandma and her group of girlfriends that walk the dogs each day. He wanted to make them all a Christmas gift, and what do you need to put such a special gift in...A special gift box. So using the Art Philosophy Cartridge I cut out the gift box and used the stamp set and paper from the CTMH Believe Workshop kit to make this extra special gift box. To give Santa some dimension, I used the white liquid applica to add "puff" to his beard and fur. To glitz it up a bit, I added packages from the same stamp set and finished them with some stickle bows. I am sure that one of Grandma's friends will love this box.

One More Letter for Santa

After a long week at work some relaxing scrapbooking fun with my friends is just what the doctor ordered. Not having any idea what I was going to work on, I decided to continue with the exploration of my Cricut Cartridges. After my son I created the cute little elf card, I wanted to make some more of the cute little guys. The question is what....so I was thinking what is one of the first things you associate with Santa? Letters to Santa of course, so using the Jolly Holidays Cricut Cartridge, I created this cute little fella delivering a letter to Santa’s mailbox. As if Santa's Elf’s aren't cute enough by themself, some liquid glaze and stickles make them ADORABLE!

Let it Snow...Let it snow

Not that I wish it would snow, but who doesn't love a cute snowman? Recently my friends and I had a Christmas Card exchange, my friend made an adorable snowman card, which made me decide to go home and explore the Snow Friends Cartridge, I just had to make some cute snowman project.  Using the Close to My Heart Art Philosophy Cartridge I cut out a 5.5 inch box and a snowman from the Snow Friends Cartridge ...added some stickles and bling and you have yourself a one of a kind gift box!

Simple Elegance

Recently I became a consultant for Close to My Heart (CTMH), which meant that I needed to start using the CTMH products instead of other brands and since I am a Cricut addict, the first big purchase had to be their Cricut Cartridge.  I have to say, when I first saw the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge I did not think that I wanted to purchase it, but after a scrapbooking weekend I was able to see all the content, and let me tell you...it is now one of my favorites. I scanned thru the book and found so many things that I wanted to create, so I sat down in my scrapbook room, grabbed some of the new stamps from CTMH and starting cutting away. What I came up with were both of these Christmas Holly Boxes. I think they are simple...yet elegant. Great as a gift box for that co-worker.

Here comes Santa !!

When I woke up Sunday Morning and seen that it was cold and rainy my first thought was to sit in my jammies, turn on some heartwarming Christmas movies and create some fun stuff for Christmas. As we all know, it's just not Christmas without Santa. Using my Martha Stewart scoreboard, I made this cute little gift box, Grabbed my Simply Charmed Cartridge and cut out a cute little Santa and of course, a chimney to limb in. Now for the finishing touches....to make Santa "pop" I added pearl stickles to Santa's hat and beard and some diamond stickles to the snow so that it glistens.

Here's a Holly Jolly Elf to get you in the Christmas Spirit

Hi .... I Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and survived the Black Friday Shopping. I was hoping that I would find a new Cricut Cartridge that was a "Black Friday" Premier, unfortunately there were none. Luckily I was able to get the Jolly Holidays Cartridge last Black Friday so I decided to grab it and start exploring...I found quit a few cute little elves. While we were watching Hallmark Christmas movies on a dreary Sunday my son asked if he could make something, which of course I told him YES. So we sat down and made this cure little card. I foresee many more Christmas Elves around my house. I love this cartridge.
